What's your household income?

Please feel free to post anonymously--I am! lol Anyway, I just want an idea of where we stand. My husband acts like we're so poor, but I don't think it's that bad. I don't currently work as I am taking classes, but plan to start clinicals soon. We have one child that is 2 years old. He makes about $56,000/yr. When I complete school, my income will start around $50,000 also. However, that is a few years down the road. Are we average or below average?

  • I cannot yet post anonymously. But I will answer anyways. 14,000. I am on disability and currently the only source of income for my family. I do make some money each summer with having stockpile sales (i am a  couponer), but that goes in to paying off student loans and an old credit card bill now.

  • I made more than $6,600 a year when I was 16 making minimum wage working after school at a fast food restaurant. There's something wrong with that picture.
