Suggestions for helping credit scores?

i have been working so hard to pay off any collection bills i had on my credit.i havent had any new credit in about 9yrs! so i went and got some.but my score is going up sooo sllllooooww!!! have any ideas to bring it up? faster? im trying to buy a house this fall!

  • Secured credit card. You bring in like $500 to your bank and you get a credit card with a $500 limit. It's great for rebuilding credit.

  • not credit cards, you need to get a copy of your report, anything you have paid off you need to be sure has been removed. If it hasnt, call those let the Better Business Bureau know its false information and have it removed ASAP! It can take about 6 months of good payment schedule to get your score up for things you are making payments on.
