10 yr old with a poster of a women in a bikini to young to have in his room?

  • might be a tad young, but if you go with him and oversee what his choices are and let him know that you care about what he has on his walls, and let him know what his limits are, in the end, he will respect you

  • My brother wanted one when he was that age. My mom asked me what she should do. I ended up taking him to the mall (I was almost 17) and oversaw his choice. Pretty sure it was the Farrah Fawcett one, where she's in a one-piece and nothing is showing. Boys will imagine whether or not the poster is on his wall. Kudos to the kid for having the confidence to ASK you for it. I say it's okay, just filter his choices.

  • It depends on the bikini. My 10 yr old (turns 11 in a couple weeks) isnt even into that stuff yet. If he was though I would probably allow it once he was around 12.

    my son has had hooter girl calendars since he was about 8.
    his babysitter was a deadringer for Carmen Electra, he has a certain standard imprinted in his brain by now. LOL
