I'm having self esteem issues.

My husband is much more attractive than me. I'm pretty attractive, but two kids has left me with a not so perfect figure, about 150 pounds. I'm working on it. I feel like sometimes he and his family look down on me. They hardly say anything, i just feel it. I have a pretty face, i just need to work on my weight. and my frizzy hair's always falling out due to breastfeeding. I could really use some tips on boosting my self esteem. I'm so stressed and feel like nothing.

  • Get some exercise in when you can even if it's just a nice walk. You also might talk about your feelings with your doctor to get his/her advice. Eat healthy foods and drink enough water. hug

  • First stop beating yourself up think about things that make you feel better about yourself and do them maybe try new things with your hair or even find a new workout. get a journal and write positive affirmations stuff like i am a good mother and wife anything that makes you feel better.

  • stop beating yourself up about the way you look if your husband and family are accepting it while you are working on your weight and such then I wouldn't worry about it

  • I agree with the prev posts, walking and exercising releases endorphins, they are the "feel good" hormones. Try not to think negative about yourself, and don't try to over analyse what other's may be feeling or thinking. Live your life ~ with your family, work on getting some daily exercise in and make wonderful happy memories with your children.
