When your child looses his/her teeth do you keep them?

My son is 6 he has lost 3 teeth so far. I put each one in a zip bag and write the date he lost it on the bag. I plan to do the same with my 2 girls.

  • I have them saved in my Jewelry box. IDK why and my DH thinks it's strange. But, I just can't bring myself to through them out... it'd be like putting a piece of my child in the trash.

  • I kept everyone of them, I have a drawer full of them! I have also made rings with the first teeth they lost, and they came out beautiful!

  • Yes, so far only my son is losing teeth, but I have kept them all. Except for the one he swallowed by mistake- I was not going 'digging' for that one! LOL! My mom is always joking that by the time my three kids have lost their baby teeth I will have a jar full of teeth in my closet!

  • everytime my son has lost 1, he actually loses it somewhere. We always have to write a letter to the tooth fairy!
