Women and the Death Penalty

I was watching a show on female killers and them being sentenced to death and made me wonder what other women thought.

Whether you are for or against the death penalty, what are your thoughts on women being sentenced to death?

Since 1976, there have been 12 women who have been sentenced and put to death. A few that come to mind ... Karla Faye Tucker (Texas - executed), Aileen Wuornos (Florida - executed) and Blanche Taylor (NC - on death row).

  • Sex should not enter into it. These women were vicious. They killed knowing exactly what they were doing and knew the consequences. The death penalty is not reserved for just men.

  • i am 100% for the death penalty. I believe there are some so called human beings, who simply need to be put to death for what they have done.

  • If you are a person that wants equal pay/treatment, then you can't be against women being executed. We can't pick and choose equality. Either women are equal or they aren't.
