Trouble trying to conceive...

i am a mother of two. after my second child was born i needed a break with no chance of pregnancy so we chose Mirena IUD. now my husband and i are wanting more children. we had the IUD removed in October and we haven't been able to conceive yet. i never had this trouble before (i was a fertile myrtle) is there any chance that the Mirena messed up any chance of having more children?

  • Maybe but more than likely, your system just hasn't gotten back to normal. It can take up to a year for your cycle to regulate.

Also, just because you have a period doesn't mean that you are ovulating.

  • Maybe you are trying too hard. Relax, allow your body to recover from the IUD, and make love for the sake of love. It will happen when it's supposed to.
