Who's got some natural remedies for a kid with a sore throat?

He won't drink tea and honey, I tried. What else can I give him? He's just been sucking on juice pops for now.

  • Pain reliever and there really is only honey and tea so if he wants to get better he needs to suck it up. The salt water is also a good idea but it really depends on the age and if they can grasp the concept of gargle and not swallow... eeeewwwww..... Good locu sweetie.

  • Gargle w/some rosemary oil mixed in with some warm water. Eat garlic (chop one clove very fine, let it sit 5 minutes, and then swallow w/water (do not chew)); do twice a day. These work for us every time, better than any OTC products I've ever tried.
