Starburst and other disappearing treats

So the other day we were at the store, and my roommate got a random craving for Starburst. We went down the candy aisle - nothing. There was nothing at the till either. Starburst used to be everywhere!
My roomie has a 2nd job at Toys R Us, and he said they have some there, but they have all kinds of candy there that no one else has anymore.
Is Starburst falling off the face of the earth?
What other treats have you noticed "disappearing"?

  • Try your local Walgreens or CVS. For some reason, drugstores have a good selection of those quickly vanishing treats! @ specialwinqs, I know I've bought Sugar Babies and Sugar Daddies at Walgreens!

  • I've noticed that regular Werther's are scarce, at least, in my town. They only have sugar-free and flavored sugar-free. Yuck.
