How do you know if you are having an ectopic pregnancy?

I've read some things online, but I still don't really get it. Anything you might know will help. Thanks!

  • My ectopic pregnancy was EXTREMELY painful. It was on my right side, and the pain was constant. I was passing blood clots and I couldn't stand up straight, couldn't even hardly walk. Nothing I did stopped the pain. I also felt like I had to make a bowel movement all the time, but I couldn't. It was the worst thing I have ever experienced in my life.

  • There would be extreme, unmistakeable pain. I have never heard of anyone not having intense pain with an ectopic pregnancy.
