How do you clean wooden toys?

Anyone know how to clean/sanitize wooden blocks and toys?

  • Wood is naturally antibacterial, so they don't need "sanitizing." You'll find a great article here on how to clean and take care of children's wooden toys:

  • I spray mine with a solution of bleach and water. That way they can air dry overnight. How much bleach depends on size of spray bottle.

  • I used to use a 50/50 white vinegar/water mix. It will clean & disinfect and no danger of baby getting sick while chewing on the toys.

  • Spray them with a bleach solution.

    The ratio of bleach to water should 1:10.

  • Seventh Generation all purpose disinfecting spray. No need for mixing or anything like that and it is safe for toys, highchairs, and the like.
