What tips do you have to help a teething baby?

My son is 8 months old with teeth coming in. I am looking for some advice on on to help him and me get some sleep, any suggestions?

  • I got a corner of a washcloth wet and stuck that in the freezer and let my boys chew on it

  • I haven't dealt with it personally yet (mine is 6 months), but my doctor told me to stay away from all the numbing gels. He said the pain isn't on the gums so those gels are just going to give him a numb tummy. Hetold me to give him tylenol and motrin when the teething starts.

  • The numbing gels can numb the throat and be a choking hazard.

    Chewy toys, frozen fruit, homeopathy, nurse nurse nurse

    We are so anti medicine but we have resorted to motrin. It's too awful to have her cry.

  • Motrin and alternate w Tylenol. Those numbing gels don't work
