Ttc after a stillbirth. is it true that you are more fertile after giving birth or is it a myth

i had my baby on the 8th we are going to start trying again in march to have another baby, i have heard that after you have a baby you are more fertile is that true or an old wives tale

  • You are no more fertile than normal. That myth comes from not being able to tell as accurately when you are fertile (when you ovulate) before having a normal cycle to rely on. So without knowing when ovulation is going to happen, you have to assume it could happen at any time.

  • U r because it takes 6 weeks to heal. If u have sex before 6 weeks u r likely to get pregnant. Everything inside is still wide open.. Doctors do not advise it,a woman needs time to heal.
