  • Right now, my daughter is too young (less than 3) but homeschooling is something we are considering. I don't mind her going to preschool or kindergarten for fun but when it gets to curriculum we'll need to assess if it's a good use of her time to go fulltime.

  • Yes, we homeschool..Our older sons 22 and 19 have graduated. We still have three homeschooling..12, 7, and 3. It is never too early to start teaching you are doing it every day in every thing that you do and say..Teaching children to be independent learners. What I mean by this is that your child should come to you for instructions but as they get older they should get better and better at working on their own. Every home is different and so the pros and cons will be different and they will change as your family grows and needs change..take it slow and build on it as you go. When you get overwhelmed take a break and re-group..Homeschooling is a family lifestyle and not the mothers job alone...Dad should be the head of the program as he is the house...Mom, will be the one to instructe but dad is the over one can do it, flash cards, and have fun...

  • If we had been able to prepare our daughter for a university education, we would have homeschooled.

  • We home-school, and we love it. It is perfect for our family, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
