Does anyone know what kind of rum you put in eggnog?

  It's really a preference thing. I like Pyrat rum for eggnog...it's got a nice light spicy flavor to it with notes of vanilla and nutmeg.

  I tried Cruzan (inexpensive) pineapple rum two years ago with a tiny bit of nutmeg. We were tired of being cold and had a "tropical" theme for Christmas. Santa's vacation hideaway!

  I don't know about rum but Kahula is very good in egg nog or milk.
