  • I have done quite a bit of traveling lately and I will say they get their money either way. Either you buy a cheap ticket and you pay to check your bag, or you pay an arm and leg for your ticket and you don't pay to check your bag. It all ends up the same.

  • Does southwest fly from Portland to Fargo though? I used them a lot when I lived in Texas, but I wasn't aware that they flew from here to there.

  • check their website! i know southwest offers 2 free bags per ticket as long as they are not over 50lbs
