How do i get my 23 month old to sleep in his new toddler bed?

he will lay in it as long as someone is right there but as soon as you walk out of the room he screams and cries and falls asleep in front of his door.

  • Coz the baby feels insecure alone. For the first few days try to sleep in the same room; the baby needs to know that the parent is there with him and gradually he'll get used to sleeping in his own bed....

  • My oldest slept by his door for a few weeks. He had a bathroom attached to his room and we would go in through there and move him from in front of his door to his bed. He eventually just started staying in his bed.
