How did you learn to crochet/knit?

Did someone teach you to crochet/knit? Do you learn from a site on the internet? Or was it a DVD? Or a book?

  • My mother taught me long ago. Recently I started knitting again. I go to my local knitting store for advice and I also use youtube for stitches I am not sure on.

  • I grabbed a pair of chopsticks, a youtube video, and some scrap yarn my mom had laying around at her house and just did it! The next day I went out and bought some needles and am now working on my second project lol
