  • I fry up some italian sausage links and slice them and serve them on the side.
I also make a bruschetta to go with it. Saute garlic and onion in a bit of olive oil. When it is translucent I add fresh chopped tomatoes and basil. Cook for 3 minutes and top the tortelinis.

  • Green peas go well with them (as in, cooked in with them), if you're trying to add veggies. Also, to keep it simple you might try a little butter and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.

  • We bake them and the kids eat them with soy sauce. We serve with salad and/or broccoli.

  • I get Portabella mushrooms and sautee them and mix with an alfredo sauce and mix together with the tortalini.

  • Oh, Yum! Cook tortelinni according to pkg directions. Dash in cold water to chill & drain. Add halved grape or cherry tomatoes, diced sweet red onion, diced sweet green pepper, (or any fresh veggies of your choice - anything goes, really) & sliced pepperoni. Then, toss with some zesty Italian salad dressing. Sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan cheese. Serve with garlic bread.

  • http://europe.lkk.com/recipe/recipe/braised-ravioli-and-mushrooms-oyster-sauce-1351 This is a recipe for ravioli, but it will work with tortellini! It was really yummy

you can make a cheater lasagna, layer meat sauce in a dish, then tortellini, cheese, meat sauce tortellini cheese. I do that with ravioli also but again, tortellini is essentially the same thing!

  • Pasta salad with chicken, or white sauce with veggies, or even use them in a chicken noodle soup replacing the noodles!

  • Meatballs (also in the sauce with the tort.), steak (on the side), a nice mixed greens salad, asparagus, brussel sprouts, Italian mixed veggies (frozen, I think it's cauliflower, broccoli, string beans, onions, not sure what else, I don't buy them).

  • We make a soup...we use spicy Italian sausage links cut into medallions(you can use sweet), diced tomato(large can or 2 soup can size) with oregano and garlic, mushrooms, onions and some extra water to create a broth...we add spies to taste we love garlic though lol. My kids go NUTS over this!
