  • my mom still gives my 4 year old sippy cups whenever she visits her home. the important thing is is that they can drink from a regular cup by that age. my 26 month old cannot and i am trying to work with her on it.

  • We still use sippy cups to prevent messes. No need to rush, they learn it time.

  • My DD likes to have water beside her at bedtime, so we use a sippy cup for that so she doesn't soak her sheets.

Otherwise, she's been using a regular cup since she was about 2.5.

  • No, My 23 mo has been drinking out of a regular cup since he was 15 mo. He was also using a fork & spoon to eat. He's super independant & wants to act grown up. lol

  • Mine never took a sippy, we've always used straw cups with him. And he still uses straw cups so there's less mess. But he can drink out of a regular cup, which as a PP said, is the important thing.

  • She uses them in the evening, during the day she uses regular cups. I bought her a camelbak waterbotle so she uses that mostly.

  • My 4 yr old still does if she's going to be leaving the kitchen with a cup. She is able to drink from a regular cup but I dont trust her to walk around with it.
