My bananas are black now is that too dark to make banana bread?

its pretty mushy

  • Heck no. They'll be fine. I always put my bananas in the freezer as soon as they get so bad that no one will eat them anyway - they turn super black in there and my banana bread is always delish!

  • If it's the peels that are black they're perfect for banana bread. If the banana's are black then no, don't use them.

  • As long as the inside of the banana is totally black, but just bruises... the peel can be completely black though.
