  • Yeah, that's unprofessional. I can see asking to schedule a meeting in an email, but the retention discussion should be IN PERSON.

  • I would be mad that a teacher didn't all me in for a conference before it happened so that I could do something about it

  • I would email the teacher and ask for a face to face mtg to discuss the reasons behind the decision.
