  • No.  I am not going to lie and act like I feed my children perfectly.  Some days they eat more fruits and vegetables than others, it just depends.  It definitely depends on what is in season and available at our store.

  • We had today: two bananas, 5 strawberries, and some raisins. Did we meet the recommendation or not?

  • Today: juice and pear with breakfast, celery at lunch, kale at dinner, do white beans count?

  • We do!! Its the one thing I can say for myself as a parent, my kids eat a ton of fruit and veggies. My son doesn't eat a lot of meat so I make a lot of veggie based meals.

    We still eat junk, though.

  • probably not but we get more then the average family (i just spent about 60 bucks on fresh veggies and fruit) and i keep them because i like them..every meal i have a fresh veggie and fruit or salad and a few fruits and i snack on them through out the day as well as dried fruits...yeah i sound like a health nut but i'm not give me a cheesesteak any day and i'm happy lol..so i don't know if we do or not but at least my son gets more then alot of kids i know and hes not hyped up on sugar all day..he's hyper enough without it

  • No, I don't want the mto develope a complex I just try to use common sense. Veggies with dinner and lunch or fruit for lunch and a fruit with breakfast sometimes. This isn't everynight.
