no it's a good thing. that's what i used to do. actually, i used to have an excersaucer next to my bed, and when he woke up really early, i would make a bottle, put him in the excersaucer (he was holding it up at the time), throw some cartoons on and go back to sleep. normally he would wake up at the same time, and he would watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which turned into his favorite as a baby. he would wake me up when Handy Manny was over with (which was right after Mickey) so i got an extra hour of sleep. sometimes though, i'd wake up to find him fall asleep in the excersaucer...it was so cute. i would either put him in bed with me or put him back in the crib. i don't know if that's what got him on the schedule he is on now, but he doesn't wake up till 8am now. if he does wake up before 8, he plays until 8. it's like he KNOWS when 8am is.
