  • When I was pregnant if I wasn't in the mood to eat something, then I couldn't eat it. I craved food from places so we ate out alot. I cooked at home sometimes for my husband, and I would start to eat the food and almost throw up in my mouth. But even though I ate really bad, I only gained 12lbs, and my son weighed 7!

  • With my first pregnancy I craved fruit and Subway sandwiches, so I indulged
With this pregnancy, I havent had barely any cravings at all, but when I do have them, I indulge.

  • I ate like I normally do. I didn't really watched what I ate, since I was a little underweight before I got pregnant, but I was never one to over indulge myself anyways. The funny thing is I had more food aversions than cravings. I'm a coffee-holic and chocolate-holic, but when I got pregnant I didn't want any, what's so ever. Now, I'm back to my coffee addict ways.

  • I ate when I was hungry and tried to be healthy. I think counting calories when pregnant is weird lol.

  • When pregnant, I try to make sure what I eat COUNTS: whole grain, fresh fruits and veggies.... not empty calories. With my first, I was better than with this one. I've eaten more sweets this time around, but I'm ready to cut back because I feel icky. I do NOT count calories.

  • I watched what I ate, and ate LOTS of fruit. I refused to end up heavy from pregancy, or have to struggle loosing baby weight. I was young with my 1st and didn't have to loose any after his birth, only 5 with my 2nd only 10 with my 3rd, so I did pretty good. There were 14 yrs between the 1st and 2nd baby, and then 5 yrs between the 2nd & 3rd so the age difference made it a little harder to loose with the 3rd baby.

  • Whatever didn't give me horrible heartburn. Which wasn't much.

  • i watched my fat intake a lot at first...but still ate what i wanted until i found out i had gestational diabetes...then i had to watch everything i ate because i had to balance out my carbs and proteins...however every now and then i have a craving for something like subway or a buffet(those give good healthy and not so healthy options) so i do indulge a little bit there...counting calories isnt reccommended for pregnancy unless you have to be on a special diet like i have been but in order for me to maintain enough in me to not lose too much weight then i dont really look at the calories that much anymore but i still think whether or not i had GD i would look at what i ate because it would still be going from me to the baby and i want to give this baby a good start right off the bat
