  • Depends on the sensitivity of his stomach. I don't recommend doing it again, but I would imagine the worst that'll happen is some bad gas. Unless he's allergic. Babies don't need juice or water until they're much older, and usually only water under a dr.'s orders for illness. Juice is never needed and really unnecessary, so hope for the best tonight and stick with formula from now on.

  • Why? are you giving him Jucie? But, if it is for pooping reasons I would try half and half water!

  • You should not give a baby so young apple juice but it will not harm him unless he is allergic so probably not a good idea to give him any more

  • Juice really shouldn't be given until 6 months. The only time a doctor will tell you to give it before that is when constipation is an ssue, and even then they say 2 oz of prune juice mixed with 2 oz water. NO MORE. Juice is actually not that nutritional, the nutrients are in the fruit itself. Juice will replace some of the more needed nutrients in breastmilk/formula.

  • It probably won't really HURT him, but it's definitely not good for him. Most people wait until much later to introduce juice, and like previous poster said, it is never truly necessary. Stick with formula or breastmilk for at least another few months, and if you really feel it necessary to give him juice, at least wait until he can drink it out of a sippy cup - it's never a good idea to give an infant juice in a bottle. Bottles should only be used for milk/formula or water, and should not be used at all once an infant can learn to use a spill-proof training cup. Too many kids form dependencies on bottles and carry them around until they are 3.

Once your baby is ready for juice, it's recommended to keep it watered down. half water, half juice is a good rule. your baby won't know the difference and will like it just the same.

  • I work in the medical field and it is fine to give white grape juice mixed with water.
