  • Nothing should be added to formula for a child this young unless directed by your doctor.

  • I would also not be using a supplement on an infant that hasn't been evaluated by the FDA.

    It won't hurt at all in small quantity. I'm assuming you mean for colic or to aide digestion.

  • Sorry if I was using supplement as a broad term. It is used a spice, a masticatory, and in medicine. None of the benefits of cardamom have been certified by the FDA.

  • We gave our daughter an ounce of weak chamomile tea every night, when she had colic.

    I would try eating something with lots of cardamon, and see if it bothers your baby over the next couple of day.
