What is the best pain reliever for toothache??

I have a horrible toothache and cant get an appt until tomorrow. What is the best over the counter pain reliever i can buy?

  • While you may not have clove oil (I don't keep it on hand) you probably have vanilla extract. It will serve the same purpose. When you first do it you might feel a very sharp pain, but almost instantly it numbs the nerve and the pain subsides.

  • Dab a Q-tip with Clove oil. Put it on the tooth and bite down slightly. Hold it there for a minute or two. You might have to do it two or three times between today and tomorrow. It will hold off most of the pain until you get to Dentist.

  • Advil ( any ibuprofin ) and extra strength Ora-jel. They will definitely give you relief till tomorrow.

  • Ibuprophen. Salt and warm water rinses. Hope you feel better. Toothaches are the worse!
