the job of a guardian...
My sister is a ward of the state, and I'm wondering how much contact she would/should have with a guardian

anyone know?

*putting this in health because she is schizophrenic

  • the job of the guardian is to make sure she is safe to take her meds and also make sure she gets the serices she needs.

  • OK -that's what i thought.
    She got into some serious trouble this week- she set her apt on fire and left- when they found her she admitted doing it and her reasoning was partially that she was upset that she couldn't get a dr to see her. They got her on her way to the hospital- she obviously knew her meds were jacked up - and I want to know WHERE THE HELL the people were who were supposed to be making sure she was taking her meds/seeing her doctor and all that
