Do you open presents on Christmas Eve?

  We always opened them on xmas eve growing up, but my family is strannge and doesn't do the whole santa thing.

  We open 1 on Christmas eve, it's always new pj's and a book.

  we always let the kids open gifts on Christmas eve that family members had sent. then on Christmas morning they got to open the presents from us.

  As a kid we live upstairs from my grandparents(mother daughter house), and across the street from my aunt uncle and 4 cousins.. Christmas eve we all got together and opened gifts from our grandparents at midnight...
  
  My husband and I are like big kids, we always give each other gifts leading up to Christmas day, its kind of a joke that we celebrate more like Hannuka. (sorry for the spelling)

  when i was little we always got to open 1 present xmas eve and it was any present. with my kids they open one present and it is xmas jammies that i have already washed and then wrapped, i may steal goaliemom's idea and start throwing a book in too.

  Growing up my family always opened all our presents from family on Christmas Eve, and then on Christmas Morning we would have all our presents from Santa under the tree. We loved it. Now that I am married and we have a baby and my husband doesn't like that idea at all, I am at a loss at what to do!! ( I am kinda sad too- its kind of not fair that we have to follow his families stupid tradition that is no fun!!)

  On Christmas Eve we go to my father-in-laws house. We have dinner and then the children open their presents from my husband family.
  Christmas morning my mother-in-law comes over we do our Christmas tree then I make a huge breakfast. Later that day we head to my fathers house to open presents with him.
  By the end of it I'm exhausted but I would not have it any other way.

  We always opened a couple on x-mas eve growing up as my dads family always did the whole thing ON the eve and my moms on the day of.
  
  In my little family we open 1 present on Yule, then a couple on x-mas eve and then all the rest on x-mas day.
