Is it normal to miss....

your period if you've lost some weight? I haven't gotten mine yet and I don't feel any PMS. Could it be stress? Usually I'm very regular.

  • Yeah but it would have to be a ton of weight...like malnourished.

    Anorexics often don't have a period.

  • Have you lost a lot of weight rapidly? That can affect your cycles. Rapidly losing weight signals the body that you're lacking in food supply, so it's not a good time for pregnancy, thus it shuts off ovulation.
