How to.......

Cure constipation? my 6mth old seems to be constipated she is having bms but they are painful for her every now and then...all ready tried prune juice

  • I would try an ounce or two of apple juice mixed with equal parts water, or prune juice.

  • Apple juice sometimes helps to relieve that. As well try giving her a warm bath to try and release any pent up gas. Gas can be a cause of constipation or painful BM's, as it clogs the works and makes it hard for the movement to pass. As well, if you give her any dairy products you might want to cut back, as dairy can cause constipation.

  • limit her diet to milk, veggies and fruit. bicycle her legs, and massage her tummy.
    is she breast fed?

  • use a infant enema you can get it from your local drug store
