So I recently discovered that my ancestor is Quanah Parker, and that my family is supposed to get assets from him. Does anyone know how I could find out if I should recieve these assests?

  • There are state and federal "unclaimed money/assets" listings where you type in your last name and information to see if you have something owed to you. When we ran checks for our family members, we found small things like an overpayment for an insurance deductible that the company held because they didn't have a current address for my sister anymore...$50 or something....I am sure it would cover major things though.

  • Curious, how do you know what was written in his will?
