Watch your diet and watch your carbs. Try to only eat natural sugars found in fruits and vegetables. Follow your OB's instructions to avoid problems with gestational diabetes. Don't pig out on ice cream and other sweets and avoid cereal. If you want something sweet go for a fruit that is sweet like honey dew melon or watermelon or strawberries. Also you can try using a sugar substitue like Splenda.
GO FOR THE LESS SUGARY FRUITS AND VEGGIES. LOOK INTO DIABETIC COOK BOOKS.
MANY STARCHS AND CARBS TURN INTO SUGAR. CORN IS VERY SWEET FOR EXAMPLE, TONS OF SUGAR IS IN IT.
DRINK MORE WATER, NO SODA NO CAFFEINE.
