Birthday party dates??

i was going to have my sons 1st birthday party on a sat (1:00-3:00) the day before his actuall birthday so i could relax and enjoy his actual birthday, my mom is saying that no one will be able to come on a sat that i should do it on the sunday (his actual birthday).

  • I prefer Saturday parties so I can relax on Sunday before the work week begins.

  • Saturday parties are better for me because Sunday is my only day to really spend at home. Plus people do all their church activities on Sundays...of course I live in the Bible Belt...

  • I always do Saturdays. I have learned after many years people like their Sundays free to be lazy or go to church.

  • i usually have parties on saturdays. however, since my husband's new job only gives him sundays off, i had all my daughter's parties last year on a sunday so he could attend.

  • Saturday's work best for us. A lot of people have church and a big lunch on Sunday so I don't try to compete with that!

  • Saturday's are better for us because we go to church every Sunday. My 4th son's 1st birthday is comming up soon too and that is the day we will be celebrating it...he actual B-day is on a Friday.
