How do i get a 13 month old to keep a hot compress on her fore head

my daughter has a pimple on her fore head. It is not a little pimple it 's about the size of a apple pit but round. The dr say it needs to come to a head. she won't sit still for it.

  • Try laying her down to watch a movie or one of her favorite shows and put a hat on her head and tuck the compress under that..........maybe even before you do that, show her the hat in front on the mirror so she knows what it on her head-she will just think the compress is part of the hat. Or, wait unti she goes to sleep and leave it on for a little bit then.......otherwise, it will come to a head on its own.

  • well, the pimple will go away on it's own, there is no need for you to hold a compress on it.

from the size you described though, it sounds like a boil, not a pimple. in that case, the compress will help

maybe wait for naptime and try to just lay it on there then.

also, try washing it with phisoderm body wash. That's what our dr said to use on my son's boils he got a few months back.
