Why is my new comforter turning my nails and pores black/purple?

I bought this bed in a bag from Walmart I washed it like it said but its turning my nails and pores look black. When I cleaned my face the cotton ball was purple. Its made of 100% polyester. What do I need to do to make it stop?

  • It is the dye. I had that happened with a pair of jeans and the funny part is that I bought the jeans in a high end store.

  • Did you wash it? Also, put a little salt in the washer when you do. This is why I don't buy bedding from walmart. The last one I did, fell apart in two weeks.

  • If you've already washed it and it's continuing to bleed, I would take it back.

  • Yeah, take it back! Even if it's washed. Walmart will take anything back. Even if you don't have the receipt, they'll give you store credit.
