how much should he be eating

My son is 3 and half months. He eats cereal in his bottle 2x a day, as directed by his dr. ( so i don't want to hear it.) He eats 6 oz. in every bottle except 2x a day he eats less. He eats 5 or 6 bottles a day.

  • There is no rock solid answer to this because your baby is an individual. Take your cues from him. If it seems to upset his tummy, then back off, if he acts like he's still hungry, then feed him. Your the mom. Trust your instincts. Don't let someone else take that part of your parenting role from you. You'll do fine together.

  • As long as he's growing normally and you feel confident that he isn't "going hungry" then he's eating just fine. All kids eat differently, and they're tastes and hunger change a lot with time. So as long as he isn't under or overweight, you're doing fine.
