2 Bumps

Bed Bugs

I make a lot of wall hangings and tapestries out of sheets and curtains and different dresses that I find in thrift stores. Because of the bed bug crisis I was worried that there might be bugs in some of the fabrics that I buy...do you think this is a legitimate concern?

And yes, I know that they wash the garments and merchandise before the sell it.

  • Google pictures - Then you can see the black spots you are supposed to look for before you purchase an item, or sleep in a hotel bed.

  • I wouldn't be too concerned. Again, I think it's one of those things they are blowing way out of proportion. Yes, I know they are out there, I just don't think they are that bad. I have two daughters in the hotel industry and they've yet to even hear of any at their hotels.
