  • Have you got a caseworker at your job and family services? Apply for section 8 first off, let them know you're about to be homeless and let your caseworker know as well (assuming you have one). Then contact local shelters and churches because they're known to help out when people fall on hard times.

  • I agree with Nanixh, once you get that eviction on your credit, it's going to be really hard to do a lot of things.

    Have you already gone to court for the unlawful detainer? Is there any way you could work something out with them, like vacate the premises immediatley if you can find some help from section 8? Just try looking into ways of keeping that off your credit if it hasn't happened yet.
