PCOS, TTC, and Aldactone?

My DR knows we are TTC. Long story short...was on BCPs for PCOS from 16-22...got off, got pg....BCP until 30...got off, got pg...wanted another baby close together...but no luck and rampant PCOS symptoms...been trying 6 months now...went to see dr today...he prescribed Metform and Aldactone. I asked, double asked, and triple asked if I need to stop taking them if I got PG. He said he it was fine. I really like him and normally really trust him. He delivered both my kids. But from everything I am reading, I am not sure if I should start Aldactone while TTC. Anyone know anything??
