I need a "to die for" rich chocolate cake recipe!

It has to be moist, RICH, chocolatey, eat every crumb kinda chocolate cake!
If there RICH chocolate frosting to go with it, it would be a bonus!!!!
Anyone have one???? Thanks!!!

  • How about Better Than Sex Cake? Bake a German chocolate cake according to the directions, in a 9x13 pan. Let it cool partway, and poke it full of holes with a small dowel, skewer, etc. Pour a can of sweetened condensed milk over the still-warm cake and let it soak in for 5-10 minutes. Then pour about 8oz of caramel, butterscotch, or caramel-butterscotch ice cream topping over the whole thing and let that soak in. Cover the cake and refrigerate til it's cold. Top with 8oz of thawed cool whip. You can leave it that way, or drizzle chocolate syrup or fudge and/or extra caramel on top, or sprinkle on mini chocolate chips, or crushed Heath or Skor or Butterfinger candy bar. Keep refrigerated. Tastes best the day after baking. Not chocolate frosting, but it is so rich and gooey!

  • Here's another. Uses any chocolate cake mix you have/want. Use an extra egg, replace 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sour cream, and add in a small box of instant chocolate pudding mix. Bake in a Bundt pan if you have one. While it's baking,put about 3/4 of a cup of chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bar (the higher quality chocolate, the better) in a decent sized non-plastic bowl, then in a small saucepan, heat up about 3/4 of a cup of heavy whipping cream. Do not stir it, but watch carefull. After a few minutes it will suddenly start foaming - turn off the heat, and pour into the chocolate. Whisk til chocolate is melted and cream & chocolate are totally combined. Allow to cool. Pour over the cooled cake.

  • i have one that has choc fudge cake mix, choc pudding mix, choc chips, choc milk, and some eggs. cooked in a bundt pan and then triple choc fudge icing melted and drizzled over the top. email me if you want the recipe and i'll go hunt it up

  • I've made the better then sex cake and its really really good too. i don't use german choc mix, i use choc fudge, or triple choc, and I don't wait between layers of goo. I pull the cake out, poke holes, pour on the sweetened condensed milk, spread it out, pour on the caramal, spread it and then i let it cool. i'll then put the coolwhip and heath bar crumbles on top.
