  • fresh, but I do use frozen quite a bit. I try not to use canned, but I do keep some on hand and use them on occasion.

  • I have started doing all fresh and get a few small cans for the boys just incase they don't like the taste of fresh, only buy one or two types of veggies frozen only if need be.

  • Fresh or frozen, never canned. It depends upon the veggie too. I usually buy corn and broccoli frozen. (unless I want corn on the cob, then I buy fresh) I always buy my green beans and asparagus fresh. Freezing them does something to the texture, and I don't like it. Other things, it's a wash. It honestly depends upon what I need them for.

  • Depends what kind of vegetable it is and whether it's something we'll prepare right away. I usually prefer fresh for most vegetables, but frozen has some perks because it keeps longer--and for some vegetables actually retains more nutrients than fresh (depending on how far they've traveled). In general, I don't like canned vegetables, but occasionally my DH will get beans and stewed tomatoes (to make something like chili quickly).
