  • He is far to young to actually be potty trained however you can still introduce him to the potty. Just get a little potty and let him play around with it so he is use to the idea of it.

  • You have hit part of the fun of parenting. They love to take their diapers off, and do not care where or how big of a mess they make. If you talk to most parents, they will tell you that they have been through He is too young to potty train, but yes, introducing him to a potty chair is not a bad idea. Some children have fears of the chair if you wait until they are older to show them the chair. On the diaper situation...........well i had to resort to using masking tape to keep my son's diapers on, or we had poo art all over his room and himself. Plus babies seem to have no problem with eating what is in thier diaper.........ugh.

  • Buy a roll of duct tape and tape over those tabs.

As for potty training, yes, you can start. You will do all of the work and it will take just as many months as if you wait until he is ready. If he will be ready to fully learn potty training at 31 months (for example) and you wait until then, you will probably be training for 1 month and then be done. If you start now, you'll be taking him to the potty and trying to get him to learn to do it on his own until he is 31 months. Your call.
