  • I have learned that having standards is necessary...not evil. I find myself recognizing excuses more when I see them.

I feel like I have been responsible my entire life, I have worked hard for my education and lifestyle, I have "put in the work" for everything I have. If others prefer to wallow in self pity instead of doing something about it, they can do it without me agreeing with them or bailing them out.

This has affected things like me loaning people money and watching other peoples' kids so they can go out to party.

  • I liked someone a lot for more than a year. Last year I realized this liking had changed into deep love & this person had the right to know so, also realized things in ma life were impossible without him. Things were pretty bad in my life otherwise which I could not cope up without my love being on my side... Now it is altogether two-and-a-half year old love..

  • I can swallow my pride and occasionally interact with someone  I truly don't like for the good of another that I truly love.

  • I need far more sun than these New England weathers give me. And it makes me moody and depressed because I'm lacking.

  • My temper and patience has grown a lot shorter. That's one thing I've learned.
I've also learned that I can live off of little to no sleep. Even if I'm not the most cheerful person.

Something more positive that I've learned .... Hmm ....
