What's a good book club to enroll my 5 year-old in?

Looking for a good book club for my 5 year-old daughter to enroll in that won't break the bank.

  • Try your local library. Ours has reading programs. The kids read so many books and get prizes. We are at the library weekly. Ours also has events for the kids that keep them interested in new things.

  • Scholastic is a great suggestion, as is the library. I don't think I can think of a better suggestion. Good for you for getting your child in a book club early.

  • My daughter loves the library. She loves going for story time and she loves picking out new books every two weeks. She is 4 and has even started on her own trying to sound out words in books she gets.

  • I agree the library is a great, cheap, resource.

  • Local libraries or community centers usually have good free programs.
