  • We're not replacing, but for all new releases, we buy combo packs.

  • We aren't replacing since our kids are 3 and 18 months, but all we are buying are blu rays. You get the DVD and the digital copy, for a couple extra bucks, s you might as well...

  • nope. too expensive.

  • No. It costs too much and I still have a functioning DVD player. If I replace them with blue-ray, in 5 years I will only have to do the same thing again when technology changes.

  • I have bought a few, but not as replacements until Bambi came out. I only bought that one as replacement because I got a coupon for $10 off the purchase price bringing it lower than the DVD AND the old DVD will go to one of my older children.

  • Well, we haven't really started a collection yet, so we're buying everything in blu-ray when we buy it. Mostly though, we just use Hulu or Netflix for the kids to watch cartoons.

  • I'm with the others who didn't really have a collection (mine was on video so WAY outdated) but now that we have a little one and a Blu Ray player, we're getting the Disney films on BR (and can take the DVD with us when we visit so there's always something to watch).
