How do I get this out?

I have a butcher block island in my kitchen. I love it but my dd spilled purple koolaid or juice or something on it a while back and I can't get it off. I've tried bleaching it and the purple is still there. Do I have to like sand it off or what?

  • Try a laundry stain remover or a carpet stain remover. Then wash it thoroughly. If it removes it, I would take vegetable oil & oil the entire block top to prevent anything from seeping in in the future. I do that with my wodden cutting boards. Do it regularly. You may just have to sand it though. GL

  • You can sand it off. Or buy a new counter.

  • Did you try squeezing lemon juice on it and letting it soak in? Maybe the acid will remove it?? Not sure.........
