This summer. What is the worst and best of it?

Worst, gas prices.... best tanning, fresh grass, air, flowers, ....

worst, wanting to have it last all year.

best, knowing the children aren't needing me to wake them every single morning.

  • Best- grilling out with friends and fam,lots of time with my little man, softball and volleyball, tanning, teaching summer school (1/2 days)

    Worst- that it will end

  • Hate the heat. Luckily I reside on the coast, so we do not get that horrible heat!

  • best- my children are all old enough this year to be able to enjoy the beach and the pool.

    worst- sweltering florida heat. and the wasps always come out in the summer, last year they were bad in the backyard =(

  • Worst: The few really hot days we get here every summer (over 100 with no AC really sucks) Luckily in WA where I am, that's only a week or two every summer

    Best: The LONG days (sunrise by 530, sets about 10!), back yard barbecues, and going to the lake

    worst- being 7-9 months pregnant in the heat!! ... due Aug 28th ....

  • Worst - too hot & no a/c; weeds & weeding; wasps & yellow jackets (DH is allergic); DS gets bored

    Best - no snow!; gardening; fresh air; no heavy winter coats to wear; no heavy winter shoes to wear; camping!; bbqs w/friends & family

  • The best is getting outside again.  The worst, is it will be my dd's last summer at home.  She goes off to university in September.
