Turning my hobby into a bussiness

I love making jewelry. With the economy the way it is I have decided to try and turn it into a business. I have never took any classes. How do I get started marketing my jewelry.? Am I just jumping in over my head?

  • My sister started with craft shows. You can sell on etsy, and other websites like that. You can try and find a website that does wholesale, so you make your product in bulk, they buy and you won't have to worry if it sells or not, you already got paid. Good luck!

  • I think you should make up some really nice pieces, take pictures, and start posting them on Etsy or Ebay. You're definitely not jumping in over your head- if you love to do it, then go for it! I'm going to do the same thing after I finish my first quilt, I think :) Good luck!
